m/SIX was born with an ambition: to be agile and digitally focussed, to be unencumbered by legacy structures and to balance the challenge of building brands simultaneous to sales. It might not be the sexiest ambition in media, but it set us on a course of action that culminated in two of the biggest and most headline grabbing appointments of 2016.

Our data and analytics team has one simple aim – to transform data into business success. Their influence is felt throughout planning and implementation, from the development of strategy to on-going optimisation.

Starting with client data and combining it with industry sources, we develop insight into audience behaviour and propensity, as well as market trends, that helps guide strategic thinking and spark creative development.

Once campaigns are live, reporting and analytics measure performance and drive optimisation. Digital tracking, DR attribution and econometrics are used alongside research to identify what is delivering business performance, and guide further investment. We have developed an on-the-fly approach to econometrics through Quantum, our always-on system which provides a lithe, low cost and quick way to deliver performance insight.
